Horácio L. Piva

Horácio Lafer Piva is a member of the Board of Directors of Klabin, Baumgart, Cataratas, and others. He was a member of the Group of Fifty, headquartered in Washington. He maintains economic, social, and cultural activities through his presidency of IBA (Brazilian Tree Industry) and participation in the boards of OSESP, AACD, and others. He was president of FIESP, SESI, SENAI, and SEBRAE, as well as of the Economic Policy Council of CNI from 1998 to 2004. He joined the Board of Brasilpar in 2005. Piva holds a degree in Economics and an MBA in Business Administration from FGV.
