Sergio Zini is partner at Brasilpar since 2022, where he is responsible for origination and execution of M&A transactions and corporate business advisory.
Sergio is a senior executive with proven experience in managing value chain in global businesses, with an ascending career in Solvay Group, continuously leveraging results through operational excellence in the Chemicals, Materials, Mining, Pulp & Paper, Energy, Petrochemical, Distribution and Logistics. He has a strong international performance, with a working living experience of 10 years in South America, Europe, and more recently in the USA, leading multicultural (multi-talented) teams in turnaround processes, organizational restructuring and repositioning of business units, with positive impact in their EBITDA and Cash Flow. Prior join Brasilpar Sergio has work as an Executive VP for the Technology Solutions business of Cytec Industries in the USA (2018/2021), Head of Supply Chain Excellence and Global Logistics & Packaging Procurement (2013/2017) and as General Manager of the Regional Chemical Sector at Mercosur (2010/2012).
Sergio has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from IMT (Escola de Engenharia Mauá) – São Paulo – BR, holds an MBA with emphasis in Marketing from ESPM (Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing) São Paulo – BR and senior executive education from – London Business School, London – UK and IMD Business School, Lausanne – CH
Sergio has designed and implemented the concept of integrated Value Chain within divers’ businesses at Solvay.
In 2015 he has led Supply Chain cluster of the IMO (Integration Management Office) after a major acquisition of Solvay Group in the USA (Cytec Industries).
Deeply working at the new organization design following M&A processes, with focus on diversity improvement, while keeping relevant features from the distinct cultures.
As a member of the Boards of Directors of Solvay Group units in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil, has actively participated in decisions encompassing buying and selling assets and business portfolios across the Region.
